Born in Denmark 1976, completed studies in anthropology 2001, and art photography 2006.
In my practice I seek to let considerations on culture and environment influence and inform my experience and skills as a photographer and author of short prose texts.
I try to let layers of importance and significance, i.e. contemporary cultural themes like climate and environment, and digital culture and sociality, unfold through the more practical and craftmanslike approach to using the camera, hiking and walking, sensing, and facilitating the meet-up in portrait situations. In short thinking and considering is merged with the practicality of ‘taking the picture’.
In my process of editing and developing a body of work for presentation, I incorporate these approaches, including the text pieces, and seek to let photographs and text, form new sensations or new imaginations through their merging, pairing in doubles, and interconnectedness.
I appreciate and feel lucky, to be an amateur, a lover of what he does.
